Please note until further notice that the Village does not have a viable composting option available publicly. 

The Village was utilizing a 20 yard compost dumpster in previous years, but after a recent price hike to over $5,000 per 20 yard dumpster the Village could not afford to continue that option. EGLE regulations (State regulatory body) has made running a Village composting site costly and the Village went away from that option several years ago due to those constraints and costs - which made it difficult for a small community to run an unattended composting site. 

Due to those challenges, we do not have a publicly available composting site available to residents at this time.
